World Trade Center @ 12:24 PM

When considering the information of the new World Trade Center in New York, a conclusion can be made to say that it has been created to withhold another attack and also to show the country's patriotism.

First of all, the building is 1,776 feet tall, which is the year the United States gained it's independence. Memorials have been added to the site as well, including two large pools where the Twin Towers used to stand that have the names of 2, 983 victims that died in the 1993 and 2001 attacks. There is also several additions to the building that allows the public to infer that the people behind the building wanted to help prevent another catastrophe.

The new World Trade Center is made up of "state of the art concrete," that can take on a large amount of pressure. There will be 71 elevators, all which travel at 23 miles per hour, a fast speed for an elevator, which could help in getting people in and out quickly. The pools hold up to 45,000 gallons of water, which can in turn, help provide water if there is a disastrous fire.

When this building is finished, it will be the tallest building in the nation and will stand with dignity and pride, as will the citizens that worked on it and our country.
