CURRENT CONNECTION @ 12:47 PM
In a recent interview for Neil Carmichael in FOX News, a secret program for the Air Force that took place in the 1950's was revealed. The audience were informed about what the secret program was and what may have resulted from it.
After many years of searching for any information to be found, the National Declassification Center in College Park, Md., revealed a "114-page document from 1956... describing a secret program by the Air Force to build a flying saucer." The interesting part of this discovery is that the flying saucer was being produced during the Cold War. The Cold War took place between the United States and Russia, to see who could beat the other in terms of military and weapons.
After digitizing the 114 page document, the NDC group found detailed descriptions about the system and concept of a flying saucer. The saucer was supposed to include "six Armstrong Siddeley Viper turbo jets," which would give it a tremendous amount of power. Unfortunately, "the flying saucer was better in concept" than in reality. Although this attempt appeared to succeed on paper, it was not a success once put into action.
There is most likely many government secrets that we, the citizens of the United States, may never figure out. Scattered documents may appear to give evidence but in reality, the truth may never be revealed.
I found this article rather interesting and I could put it into my own terms considering I went to New Mexico this past summer. I saw several signs about Roswell, a place in New Mexico where there supposedly was a crashed saucer, and it could be likely that it was a government produced saucer.
Although we may never know all the details surrounding this secret government program, it proves interesting to learn about and it is fascinating to discover new things about the past as life goes on.
